Ivan Toney hit a hat-trick and Rio Ngumoha was also on target as England thrashed Miami United FC 6-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Thursday.
The Three Lions picked up some more minutes ahead of the World Cup, with a low-profile fixture against the local side in Orlando.
Several of England’s most prominent players, including Harry Kane and Declan Rice, did not feature. Instead, the game handed an opportunity to impress for several squad members, with Toney showing his sharpness with a hat-trick.
The Al-Ahli forward was a surprise selection in the World Cup squad, though Tuchel has praised his qualities, after 42 goals in 49 games at club level this season.
Jordan Henderson, Rio Ngumoha, whose goal was a superb strike from distance, and Ethan Nwaneri were all on the scoresheet. Neither Ngumoha nor Nwaneri are part of the World Cup squad and will fly home after joining the pre-tournament camp.
The friendly took place at England’s pre-World Cup training camp in West Palm Beach, before the Three Lions fly to their tournament base in Kansas City.
