Torino ‘to target’ Leeds goalkeeper Lucas Perri on summer shortlist | OneFootball

Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri has drawn interest from Torino as a potential summer target. He is currently the club’s only senior keeper.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Perri is a new name on the Serie A side’s list alongside Aaron Ramsdale and Orlando Gill.

The 26-year-old joined from Olympique Lyonnais for £16 million last summer to be No.1, but a flat first season ended with Karl Darlow ahead of him.

He started 16 Premier League games, the last in January after costly errors against Manchester United and Newcastle. He featured four times in the FA Cup.

As it stands, Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns are no longer contracted, though an agreement is understood with Cairns, leaving Perri as Leeds’ only option.

Leeds have offered Darlow a new deal, while Manchester United and Everton are believed to have proposals in, and the Wales international is weighing up his options.

Meslier is due to join Arsenal. Leeds admire Japan international Zion Suzuki, though talk of an active push is thought premature, and James Trafford would command strong interest and a reported £40 million fee.
