Torneo Faty 2026 to honour Fátima Ñanculeo in Paso de Indios | OneFootball

The women’s futsal Torneo Faty 2026 returns to the Gimnasio Municipal de Paso de Indios from 21 to 23 August, staging its second edition in memory of Fátima Ñanculeo. Founded by her father, Patricio Ñanculeo, after her death in August 2024, it now runs under Asociación Civil FC Paso de Indios.

According to SuperDepor.com, organisers are targeting 12 teams, with several already confirmed: La 16 of Rawson, reigning champions, Javito and Deportivo Maxi of Trelew, Suela 12 of Paso del Sapo, Las Plumas TV of Las Plumas and Las Domingueras of Sarmiento.

Local teams are expected to join in the coming weeks to complete the field.

Trophies and cash awards: $800,000 for first, $500,000 for second, $350,000 for third and $200,000 for fourth, which covers the entry fee. Best defence and top scorer will also be recognised. Entry is $200,000 per team plus refereeing fees.

Beyond the event, Asociación Civil FC Paso de Indios supports dozens of children and young people through sport, but competing from the interior brings heavy logistical costs. Patricio Ñanculeo has said that each trip to José de San Martín costs more than $700,000 in fuel across the vehicles. With a symbolic $5,000 social fee covering only insurance, sustaining all categories is a struggle.

The tournament is also an appeal for support from provincial authorities, bodies such as Chubut Deportes and Lotería del Chubut, the municipality and the private sector. Backing this tournament is backing a family and a community who choose sport to heal and compete.
