  2. Founding members of the inaugural Premier League campaign, Spurs have remained there ever since, recording one second-place result and finishing third on two occasions. Before the Premier League era, Spurs had been crowned champions of England twice, most recently at the beginning of the 1960s.

Last season:

  1. Last campaign brought very differing fortunes in terms of successes on the league and cup front. Spurs’ points tally of 38 ensured the North London outfit finish in 17th, yet in the Europa League, victory over Manchester United in the final saw Tottenham end their trophy draught and qualify for next term's Champions League. Following the conclusion of the season, the Spurs hierarchy parted ways with Ange Postecoglou and replaced him with former Brentford boss Thomas Frank.
