In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to move in for West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus this summer. It has been revealed that Spurs are eyeing a move to bring the Ghanaian wide player to North London this off-season.
Kudus enjoyed a decent run of form at the East London club after he put in a string of impressive displays in the final third. The Accra-born talent registered five goals and picked up four assists in 35 matches for West Ham last season across various competitions.
The 24-year-old deserves some credit for averaging 2.61 shots per 90 minutes in Premier League football. However, he kept only 28% of his attempts on target. Kudus distributed the ball accurately in the opponent’s half based on his pass completion rate of 83.6% in the English first division (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the East London club will expire in the summer of 2028. Hence, Spurs would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Kudus this off-season.

Kudus is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some dangerous runs in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and has got the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third.
The Ghana international is primarily a right-winger but can also play as a left-sided wide player but can also fill in as an attacking midfielder if required.
We can expect Kudus to bring more firepower to Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank’s attack. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the North London club next season.
At 24, Kudus has his best years ahead of him which makes him a great choice for Spurs to consider in this summer transfer window. He already knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to settle into life at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Therefore, Frank should focus on trying everything in his power to get Kudus on board ahead of the new campaign.
