“Savinho, top choice, and talks are ongoing with Man City. I sense here finances won’t be a problem, and if Man City find a replacement, the door becomes open for Savinho to depart, and that’s why Tottenham are prepared to be patient.”

Savinho’s Growing Frustrations In English Football

Savinho struggled to make himself a regular starter at the Mancunian club in the previous campaign, but managed to shine at times for them in the final third. The 22-year-old scored four times and secured three times in 36 appearances for Man City last season in all competitions.

The Brazilian talent is currently one of the most talented young wingers in the Premier League. Therefore, it is no surprise that Spurs are eyeing a move for him later this year.

His current contract at the Mancunian club will run out in the summer of 2031, which could make it tough for Tottenham to snap him up on the cheap this off-season.

Will Savinho Be A Good Option For Tottenham Hotspur?

Savinho is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few dangerous runs with it out on the flanks. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The Brazilian wide player can chip in by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. Savinho is primarily a left-winger, but can also function as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if told to do so. He has already got some experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Tottenham.

We can expect Savinho to enhance the quality of Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.
