In a recent report, journalist Pete O’Rourke mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are willing to launch a move for Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi. It has been claimed that Spurs are eyeing a £85m move to bring the French forward to North London this off-season.

Kroupi’s Impressive Record In English Football

Kroupi managed to catch the eye at times with his performances as the focal point of Bournemouth’s attack in the previous campaign. The 20-year-old found the back of the net 13 times in 35 matches for the Cherries last season on all fronts.

The French talent is currently among the most gifted forwards in the Premier League. Hence, Spurs would do well to lure him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this off-season.

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Tottenham to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Will Kroupi Be A Good Fit For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi?

Kroupi is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The French talent can contribute by scoring his fair share of goals up top. Kroupi is primarily a centre-forward but can also function as a left-sided wide player or play in the number ten position if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the North London club.

We can expect Kroupi to bring more quality and depth to Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.
