Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for RB Leipzig attacker Antonio Nusa, according to The Times.
The Lilywhites are looking elsewhere in case a move for Manchester City’s Savinho falls through, and Nusa has emerged as a target.
Norwegian striker Erling Braut Haaland rates Nusa highly.
“He’s fantastic,” he once said about Nusa. “So it is important to take care of him and not hype him too much, even though he is a great talent.
“It is important to leave him alone and give him the opportunity to develop.”
The 21-year-old bagged one goal in six appearances at the World Cup after ending last term with four goals and three assists in 31 Bundesliga games.
Spurs are unlikely to be the only club keeping tabs on him.
He is not a top target for Tottenham right now as they want to try to sign Savinho before moving on to other options if a deal proves abortive.
Nusa has been on Tottenham’s radar since 2024, and they will keep monitoring him even if they end up signing someone else this summer.
His dribbling, passing and ability to shoot from a distance and score are skills Spurs need in attack.
The Norwegian is primarily a left winger, but he can also play on the right and would fancy his chances of hitting the ground running in the Premier League.
