In a recent interview, former scout Bryan King stated that Tottenham Hotspur could re-sign Los Angeles FC winger Heung-min Son. King said,
“This is from someone who I know – Spurs were trying to get Son back for a year, for the season coming.
“He’d certainly generate some interest if he came back. There’s always the possibility of him coming on loan.”
Son enjoyed a good run of form at LA FC last season when he put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 33-year-old participated in 21 matches for the MLS club in the previous campaign, scoring two times and securing 16 assists on all fronts.
The South Korea international remains one of the best playmakers in Major League Soccer. Hence, Spurs would do well to bring him back to England this off-season.
His current contract at the Los Angeles-based club will run out at the end of next year, which could open the door for Tottenham to snap him up on he cheap later this year.

Son can engineer a yard for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates in the final third and remains a good dribbler with the ball.
The South Korea international has got a wealth of experience at the highest level. Son is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also operate as a centre-forward if asked to do so. He already knows the Premier League well from his previous spell at Tottenham and won’t take much time to adjust to life in England.
We can expect Son to bring more quality and depth to Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. He is still good enough to fight for a regular starting place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.
At 33, Son might only got a couple of good years left in him to play at his best. Therefore, De Zerbi should consider bringing him back to the North London club before the end of this transfer window as he could help Spurs get back to challenging for a European spot in the Premier League.
