Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered Argentina international centre-back Cristian Romero to Chelsea.

He is keen on the move, with international teammate and Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez playing a big role in his decision.

Tottenham have sent a verbal bid to Chelsea for Portuguese winger Pedro Neto. It is unclear whether both clubs are eyeing a swap deal.

Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi has already strengthened his centre-back options with the additions of Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke.

They still have Micky van de Ven, Kevin Danso, Ben Davies and Archie Gray in their squad.

Losing Romero will not be a huge blow for Tottenham as he wants to leave and adequate preparations have been made for his departure.
