In a recent report, Het Laatste Nieuws claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on Union SG wide player Anan Khalaili. It has been revealed that Spurs are eager to get a deal done for the Israeli talent in this summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a good run of form at Union SG last season when he produced a handful of impressive performances for them in the Jupiler Pro League. Khalaili found the back of the net six times and picked up six assists in 52 matches for his current employers in the previous campaign across multiple competitions.
The Israeli sensation is currently among the best wing-backs in the Jupiler Pro League. Therefore, Spurs would do well to lure him to England this off-season.
Khalaili’s current contract at the Belgian club will expire in the summer of 2028. Hence, Tottenham would have to make a convincing offer if they want to recruit him later this year.

Khalaili is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to make some crucial interceptions for his side on the right flank. He doesn’t hesitate to put his foot through the ball when needed and is a good crosser as well.
The Israeli sensation can strike the ball with power from long range and has the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates to score. Khalaili is primarily a right wing-back but can also serve as a right-winger if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Spurs manage to sign him this summer.
We can expect Khalaili to add more quality and depth to Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi’s squad. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team place at the North London club in the coming years.
At 21, Khalaili has the potential to be a future star in England. Hence, Spurs should focus on going for a player with his skill set and potential in this transfer period. However, De Zerbi has to be patient with his development before he can get the best out of the gifted wide player.
