Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with Antonin Kinsky over an improved contract, according to The Athletic.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club survived relegation last season thanks to his impact in the last seven league games of the campaign.

Kinsky made some big saves against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United.

He denied Sean Longstaff from scoring a stoppage-time winner for the Whites in the 1-1 draw in May.

It proved crucial as Spurs eventually avoided relegation by two points.

The 23-year-old has emerged as Tottenham’s first-choice in goal, with Guglielmo Vicario expected to depart.

Kinsky was expected to leave Spurs this summer after his horror show against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 in March.

However, he has bounced back and will now retain his spot in the starting XI heading into next season.

The Lilywhites have signed Martin Dubravka to provide competition for Kinsky after leaving Burnley as a free agent.

Kinsky joined Spurs from Slavia Prague in January 2025 and had only played 12 times in all competitions before Roberto De Zerbi was appointed manager.

He is now a key player for the club but could face fierce competition from Dubravka. The Slovakian international offers plenty of Premier League experience and quality.
