Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to accelerate a move to sign Manchester City attacker Savinho.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club have identified the Brazilian as their ‘chosen target’ as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen in the final third.
He is open to joining the Lilywhites and those at the North London club want him.
Pep Guardiola once claimed that Savinho can become a ‘top class player’, and a move to Tottenham could get the best out of him.
He has not been able to play regularly at Man City and joining Spurs could give him a chance to play consistently in the Premier League.
Richarlison is expected to leave the club and it appears De Zerbi wants his fellow Brazilian as his direct replacement.
Savinho’s ability to impress on both wings is a quality Tottenham could do with, and they could table an official bid for him in the coming days.
The 22-year-old missed out on a place in the Brazil squad for the World Cup and will be desperate to force his way back into the national team.
Spurs have strengthened in the middle of the park with the signings of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.
Martin Dubravka, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke have been added to the defence and they are now looking to bolster their attacking ranks.
