Tottenham Hotspur host Nottingham Forest today, aiming to secure their first Premier League victory of 2026 and move four points clear of the relegation zone.
The Lilywhites have moved into a critical stage of their season under interim boss Igor Tudor, who oversaw a confidence-boosting 3–2 victory over Atlético Madrid on Wednesday.
Despite their European exit, Spurs showed signs of tactical cohesion that had been missing during their 12-match league winless streak. Tottenham have lost their last three meetings with Forest and will need to break that trend tonight to avoid slipping into the bottom three.
Igor Tudor manages a squad that is finally beginning to welcome back its defensive pillars. Notably, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are both fit to start, providing much-needed stability to a backline that has conceded a league-high 11 goals from outside the area this season.
Consequently, the manager is expected to stick with the four-at-the-back system that produced their best performances of the month. Notably, Archie Gray is poised for a record-breaking night; if he starts, he will set a new club record for most Champions League-era starts by a Spurs player under 21.
Guglielmo Vicario will start in goal before undergoing surgery next week. In midfield, Pape Matar Sarr will partner Gray, while Xavi Simons and Mathys Tel keep their places after excelling in midweek.
Notably, Richarlison—who has scored more than twice as many goals (9) as any other teammate this term—is expected to return to the starting XI to support Randal Kolo Muani. The hosts will be wary of Vítor Pereira, who is unbeaten in three previous matches against Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Sarr, Gray; Tel, Simons, Richarlison; Kolo Muani
The Premier League fixture takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, 22 March 2026. Kick-off is scheduled for 14:15 GMT.
