Tottenham are exploring a deal for Andreas Schjelderup and could submit an offer worth up to 40 million euros, with parts linked to performance targets and future-sale clauses.
According to Record, the London club have tracked the Norway international for months and believe he suits the Premier League.
His stock has risen after a strong second half of last season and standout displays at the 2026 World Cup. Liverpool and Chelsea are monitoring, and Como are also tracking the 21-year-old, who has yet to agree a new Benfica contract.
He joined from Nordsjaelland in January 2023 for nine million euros, with a further five million due in add-ons, and has since become one of Benfica’s most valuable assets. At the 2026 tournament he scored against England and recorded three assists for Norway.
Benfica, led by Rui Costa, will only consider offers they regard as fitting his status. Tottenham are viewed as leading the race, with English and Italian interest likely to intensify competition.
