Alverca beat Moreirense 2-1 at Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca to rise from 11th to eighth in Liga Portugal.
In the 60th minute Nabil Touaizi Zoubdi converted a penalty to put the hosts ahead. Rodri Alonso levelled (62.). Play then paused for treatment to Afonso Assis (64.). Sandro Lima restored the lead (69.), finishing after a pass from Touaizi Zoubdi.

André Nogueira Gomes made three saves as the visitors pushed for another equaliser.
With changes on both sides, Moreirense introduced Mateja Stjepanović and Yan Lincon Farias de Sousa (71.), before Alverca turned to Marko Milovanovic and Davy Gui (74.).
Moreirense finished with 59% possession and 10 attempts. Alverca produced 15 attempts, three on target.
Next, Alverca visit Braga. Moreirense host Santa Clara.
