Toulouse turn down €15.4m bid from Hull City for Emersonn | OneFootball

Toulouse FC are reported to have rejected a €15.4m bid from Hull City for Emersonn (21), according to Sky Sports.

However, this setback is unlikely to prevent the Tigers from returning to the fray soon, although they are aware that the French club’s financial demands are well above their initial offer.

Having joined TéFéCé last summer, Emersonn has enjoyed a remarkable first season in the French league. Starting in 22 of his 31 appearances across all competitions, the Brazilian proved decisive on ten occasions, scoring seven goals – notably against Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais and AS Monaco – and providing three assists.

Under contract with Les Violets until 2029, the forward is reportedly valued at around €25m by the club’s management, who, a few weeks ago, are said to have turned down a €14m bid from Real Sociedad.

A former Brazil Under-16 international, Emersonn is still waiting for the opportunity to represent the senior team.
