Wolves’ striker search, a possible Yerson Mosquera exit, West Brom moves and Villa links headline the Midlands transfer agenda.

Wolves have been linked with Coventry striker Ellis Simms, 25, who scored 13 in 43 as they won promotion. The Telegraph reports he is on their radar, and he is believed to want Premier League football.

Reports in Colombia say Yerson Mosquera looks set to leave Wolves, with Besiktas linked, and his representatives said to have agreed a sale with the club.

Wolves are among suitors for former Leicester midfielder Jordan James after an 11-goal loan from Rennes. Leeds and European clubs are also in the race, and a move looks difficult.

PSV winger Couhaib Driouech is also linked. He has not been a regular, and Club Brugge, Royal Antwerp and a Spanish side are interested.

Isaac Price is reportedly attracting interest from Fulham, Crystal Palace and former club Everton after nine goals in his first full campaign.

West Brom are in the running for Spurs midfielder Alfie Devine. Preston have triggered a £5m option after his loan, but he has yet to agree, with Middlesbrough interested.

Albion keeper Josh Griffiths is linked with Stoke as a replacement for Viktor Johansson. He has 12 months left after a mixed season.

Aston Villa have been linked with Celta Vigo defender Oscar Mingueza, with Villa seen as front runners. Reports in Türkiye say Villa are preparing to open talks with Galatasaray for Gabriel Sara, with €35m wanted and the player said to be keen.
