Last summer, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, but a deal never materialized. However, a recent report suggests the Ligue 1 club is still keen on signing the Nigerian forward.

Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported in October that Lookman is open to a new challenge, fueling rumors of a potential move during the winter transfer window.

In the meantime, TEAMtalk previously mentioned that West Ham United is one of several clubs keeping tabs on the Atalanta winger. With interest from multiple Premier League sides, Atalanta reportedly seek over £60 million for Lookman.

TEAMtalk reported Monday, citing sources, that several clubs are closely monitoring Lookman’s situation, with Newcastle in the running for his signature.

The report also says that the Magpies have sent scouts to watch the forward recently and are showing strong interest in a summer move.

Atalanta, despite Lookman’s falling out with Gasperini, have set a price tag of around €65 million (£53.8 million and $68 million) for his departure in the next transfer window. In addition to Newcastle, Manchester United and three other European giants are also interested.
