Arsenal are looking to wrap three deals over the coming days, with Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga having undergone medicals, and talks with Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera progressing well. There is ongoing interest in Benjamin Sesk, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze for attacking reinforcements.
Manchester United have again won the race to sign Bryan Mbeumo, amid rival interest from Tottenham, but Brentford have rejected a second bid, worth £62.5m. Spurs could move on to Crystal Palace star Eze with Bournemouth demanding £70million for Antoine Semenyo. Kota Takai is set to become Thomas Frank's first signing.
Chelsea continue to make progress over a deal for Jamie Gittens as Borussia Dortmund hold out for a £50m fee, and have looked back into a possible deal for Alejandro Garnacho along with links with Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Milos Kerkez and are now plotting a stunning bid for Alexander Isak as Darwin Nunez heads for the exit. According to the Guardian, the Seagulls have rejected bids from two clubs - believed to be Newcastle and Chelsea - in excess of £50m for the Brazilian.

Sunderland are showing signs of intent to stay in the Premier League following their promotion with Sky Sports reporting they have agreed a club-record £30m deal to sign Habib Diarra from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
The Black Cats will pay £27m up-front plus £3m in add-ons for the Senegal midfielder.
England fans will be familiar with Diarra as he scored for Senegal against the Three Lions in a friendly earlier this month.
The midfielder is now set for a medical before signing his contract.

According to Everton insider The Bobble, negotiations between club and players are advancing.
Branthwaite’s current deal runs until 2027 and the club are keen to tie down one of their most valuable assets to longer terms.

Following reports that the Sporting strker has had a change of heart over joining Manchester United having initially dismissed the idea, it now appears that Arsenal remain in pole position to sign him.
Fabrizio Romano had said: “Many questions about Gyökeres. We respect all colleagues and all information but, at this moment, Gyokeres is waiting for Arsenal.
“As long as there is a possibility of going to Arsenal, playing in the Champions League and working with Arteta, Gyokeres gives priority to Arsenal.”

Brentford have rejected yet another Man United bid for Bryan Mbeumo.
The latest bid was reported by the BBC to comprise of £55m up front, with £7.5m in add-ons.
While that bid totals £62.5m, the reported Brentford asking price, it is thought that the Bees would like the deal to be worth more than that which United paid for Cunha earlier this month.
That deal was also worth £62.5m.
This comes after new reports that Mbeumo has communicated he is only interested in joining United.
