Liverpool snubbed mega-money for Salah back in 2023 but might be tempted by something significant this time around. The Telegraph think that Salah's decreased output and public spat with Arne Slot could see him set sail for Saudi at the end of the campaign.

Alongside the Egyptian, there's also interest inReal Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior. Saudi's near-bottomless pit of cash wants to bring a world-class star in their pomp to the division, and Vinicius sits top of the list.

Inter Milan want a replacement for Yann Sommer and Spurs shot-stopperGuglielmo Vicario is in their sights. The Italian has not convinced all in North London and Gazzetta say he may be tempted by a transfer back to Serie A. Despite recent reports, Aston Villa's Emi Martinez is not of Inter interest.

It's funny how football can change quickly.Kobbie Mainoo has spent most of the season wearing a warm coat, but now looks set for a bumper new deal.

A change of manager means Mainoo's back in favour and contract talks have started for theManchester United midfielder. He's viewed as the future of the engine room after Casemiro confirmed his exit.

Also looking to reshape their midfield areChelsea. Douglas Luiz is a player of interest to the Blues, says The Athletic, despite an underwhelming loan at Nottingham Forest. Chelsea are exploring whether they can take Luiz off of Forest's hands until the end of the campaign.

Over in Major League Soccer, there are plans for two eye-catching arrivals.TEAMtalk report that Toronto FC are confident of beating Leeds and Sunderland to the signing of Josh Sargent, with the Norwich City striker open to a return to The States, ahead of this summer's home World Cup.

Meanwhile, Charlotte FC remain eager to endHarvey Elliot's miserable Midlands sojourn. Aston Villa want rid of the Liverpool loanee before he makes the required appearances to obligate his stay becomes permanent.

Having already played forLiverpool and Villa this season, Elliott's options are limited. MLS, however, is one destination that is possible this month.
