Although there are still three months remaining in the ongoing season, Real Madrid are already planning for the next campaign.
There has been a lot of talk about the Merengues’ plans to sign a new centre-back and a central midfielder in order to bolster the squad before the new season.
At the same time, it appears that Real Madrid have also made a decision to re-sign two former academy talents who are thriving away from the club – Nico Paz and Victor Munoz.
Indeed, according to Cadena SER, Victor Munoz is expected to return to Real Madrid at the end of the season, alongside Nico Paz.
Both the La Fabrica talents will participate in pre-season with the Real Madrid first team in the summer, along with Endrick, who will be returning from his loan stint at Olympique Lyon.
Osasuna signed Munoz last summer for €5 million on a five-year contract including a release clause of €40 million. Real Madrid retained 50% of his rights as well as a buy-back option that can be activated at the end of the current season for €8 million.
The 22-year-old winger’s strong performances have not gone unnoticed. He has recorded six goals and four assists in 31 appearances, while also scoring for Spain on his debut against Serbia last week.

His performances with Osasuna have attracted interest from several European clubs, including FC Barcelona. But Real Madrid retain priority through their buy-back clause which they are set to activate.
As for Nico Paz, he has been one of the standout young performers in Serie A since joining Como from Real Madrid in 2024.
A return to Real Madrid has been in the works for some time now, with the Argentine attacking midfielder even rejecting a move to Tottenham last summer.
Nico, too, continues to attract strong interest from major European clubs. But Real Madrid will bring him back in the summer by activating their buy-back option worth €9 million.
In essence, Munoz and Nico Paz will become Real Madrid’s first two signings for the summer. They will be joined by Endrick, who will be returning from his loan spell at Lyon, in time for pre-season, with all three set to fight for a place in the squad.
