Two key Real Madrid starters unable to return for Real Sociedad match | OneFootball

The last international break has been a costly one for Real Madrid. Several Merengue players like Aurelien Tchouameni, Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, and Arda Guler etc. suffered some issues in this break.

However, luckily, the issues suffered by Eder Militao and Arda Guler were not too serious, and they can return for the upcoming match against Real Sociedad.

On the other hand, MARCA reports that Aurelien Tchouameni was unable to participate in the last training session ahead of this game, and thus will be unavailable for the La Reale game. There is a similar case for Jude Bellingham, and both of these players will be unable to play in the upcoming game.

Both of these players trained with the group on Thursday, but ultimately, a zero-risk policy was adopted and were thus left out of the squad.

For Jude Bellingham, he is now expected to return for the UEFA Champions League game against Stuttgart. The Englishman is expected to be fully fit for that game, and thus Ancelotti will at last be able to field his best starting trio of Mbappe, Vinicius, and Bellingham.

On the other hand, there is even more caution regarding Aurelien Tchouameni, even though he also trained normally on Thursday. However, his foot injury is a concern and until he has 100% recovered and there is no risk of a relapse, the club will not provide the green light for his return.

Eduardo Camavinga’s injury further complicates matters for Real Madrid, and this factor also plays a part in why the club is not going to take any risks with Tchouameni. The latter has already suffered a third injury to his foot, and there is still a risk of a relapse.

With these two key starters out, Ancelotti is likely to field Federico Valverde, Luka Modric, and Arda Guler in the middle of the field. The attack will be formed by Vinicius, Mbappe, and Rodrygo, while Militao and Rudiger will form the centre of the defence.
