145,000 people turned out in Donostia across two days to celebrate Real Sociedad’s victory.
On Saturday 45,000 gathered in Alderdi Eder to watch the match live, and on Monday a further 100,000 attended the team’s reception, according to Diario Vasco.

Donostia city council set out the figures on Tuesday.
The sheer weight of support made Alderdi Eder feel small.
The city was left with striking images from two unrivalled days for the club and its fans.
