Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will take on Chile on September 20, 2025, before facing Australia on September 23, as part of their warm-up friendlies for the 2025 U-20 World Cup. Both matches will be played in Chile.

The Nigerian squad has flown to South America with high ambitions for this Under-20 World Cup, which runs from November 3 to 27, 2025, in Qatar. These two test matches will allow Aliyu Zubairu to fine-tune his tactical plans ahead of the official kick-off.

The Flying Eagles will open their preparation schedule against the Chileans this Friday, September 20. This first encounter gives them a chance to get a feel for the host nation’s facilities and acclimatize to local conditions. Three days later, on Tuesday, September 23, the young Nigerians will take on Australia in their second warm-up game.
