Leeds United Under-21s begin their Premier League International Cup campaign this evening with an exciting tie against Portuguese outfit Sporting CP B.

Whites boss Scott Gardner has made one change to the side that were cruelly beaten deep into injury time by Crystal Palace last time out in the Premier League 2.

That alteration sees Harry Gray return to the starting lineup, replacing Devon Brockie who settles for a place on the bench.

Rory Mahady remains in goal, behind a defence of Louie Dudley, Reuben Lopata-White, Jonny Howson and Jayden Lienou.

Ollie Pickles skippers the team once more having signed a first professional contract during the week, alongside Connor Douglas and Rhys Chadwick in the heart of the midfield.

Harvey Vincent and Josh McDonald retain their places on the flanks, supporting Gray who leads the line in attack.

On the bench, Darryl Ombang and Brockie are joined by U18 regulars Lewis Pirie, Will Firth, Logan White, Loui Whitehead and Jacob Render.

Starting XI: Mahady (GK), Dudley, Lienou, Pickles (C), Lopata-White, Howson, Vincent, Douglas, Gray, Chadwick, McDonald.

Subs: Ombang (GK), Brockie, Pirie, Firth, White, Whitehead, Render.

Sporting: Pires (GK), Momade, Ciesielski, Alves, Lee, Bafdili, Grombahi, Camacho, Martins, Santos, Sanha.
