Manchester City will play their final group stage match of the Champions League against Galatasaray this Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 7:00 PM GMT at the Etihad Stadium.
The Citizens currently sit 11th with 13 points, level with PSG who are sixth, and must win to keep their hopes alive of breaking into the Top 8 and securing direct qualification for the Round of 16.
As for Galatasaray, they're in 17th place with 10 points, which still doesn't guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. The Turkish side are just two points ahead of 25th-placed Napoli.
Pep Guardiola will have Bernardo Silva back after serving his suspension against Bodo/Glimt, but will be without Rodri, who is suspended following his red card in the defeat to the Norwegians. Ruben Dias, Gvardiol, Stones, Kovacic, Savinho, and Bobb are all sidelined due to injury. Ghanaian Semenyo, who arrived this winter, is not eligible, along with Guehi and Phillips.
The Turkish side can count on Nigerian striker Osimhen and Gabon's Lemina, but will be without Ivorian Singo and Unyay, both out injured. Baltaci is suspended, while Karatas has not been registered for the Champions League squad.
Here are the probable line-ups for both teams:
Manchester City: Donnarumma - Matheus Nunes, Khusanov, Aké, Aït-Nouri - Bernardo Silva, Reijnders, O'Reilly - Cherki, Haaland, Foden.
