The contenders for the 2025-2026 UNFP awards were announced on Thursday, with the ceremony due on 11 May at the Palais Brogniart. According to Le Progres, the honours recognise the season's standouts across multiple categories.

Ligue 1 player of the year shortlist: Ousmane Dembélé, Nuno Mendes and Vitinha of PSG, Florian Thauvin of Lens, and Mason Greenwood of OM.

In the Arkema Première Ligue, the women's player nominees are Tabitha Chawinga, Melchie Dumornay, Sakina Karchaoui, Romée Leuchter and Clara Mateo. The Ligue 2 men's shortlist features Martin Adeline, Tawfik Bentayeb, Zuriko Davitachvili, Giovani Versini and Enzo Bardeli.

The Ligue 1 young player category includes Désiré Doué, João Neves, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Valentin Barco. For best Ligue 1 goalkeeper, the nominees are Robin Risser, Dominik Greif, Brice Samba, Mike Penders and Hervé Koffi.

The Ligue 1 coach award features Luis Enrique, Pierre Sage, Paulo Fonseca, Bruno Génésio and Olivier Pantaloni. The prize for the best French player abroad lists William Saliba, Rayan Cherki, Hugo Ekitiké, Michael Olise and Kylian Mbappé.
