Athletic president Jon Uriarte has announced an election date of Friday eight May, if it goes ahead.
According to El Correo, the vote would fall with four league matches still to play.

The president has brought the ballot forward by a month and a half from the last possible date.
He said staging the election at the end of June would be madness.
The decision has jolted the club.
