Usain Bolt names dream three-player transfer shortlist for Manchester United

Usain Bolt has named a three-player shortlist of players he’d like to see sign for Manchester United this summer.
The Jamaican athletics legend is an avid supporter of Manchester United and is keen to sign the side strengthen their attacking options this summer. United have endured a disappointing campaign and sit in the Premier League’s bottom half, with the club already guaranteed their lowest points total of the Premier League era.
Bolt wants to see the Red Devils reinforce their forward line and has named three dream signings.
Speaking to Bleacher Report, the 100m world-record holder said he wants Manchester United to sign Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres.
“The left winger from Atalanta, he’s called [Ademola] Lookman,” Bolt said.
“I’ve watched him throughout, he’s pretty good. And I think Cole Palmer has really showed his class.
“And the striker is… I can’t pronounce his last name, but it’s Viktor [Gyokeres] from Sporting [Lisbon].”
Lookman has evolved into one of Serie A’s best wingers since leaving the Premier League for Italy, via RB Leipzig. The Nigeria international has scored 50 goals in 118 games for Atalanta, including a hat-trick in last season’s Europa League final.
Palmer has emerged as one of the Premier League’s leading talents at Chelsea. A boyhood Manchester United, he came through at Manchester City before joining Chelsea in 2023.
Gyokeres continues to be linked with Old Trafford, having impressed under Ruben Amorim at Sporting. The Swedish striker has scored 52 goals in 48 games across all competitions this season. He is the current leader for the European Golden Shoe.
