Valencia ‘approves’ Atitlan licences for Nou Mestalla hotel, aparthotel, offices and mall | OneFootball

According to elDiario.es, Valencia city council has approved the environmental and activity licences that allow Atitlan to start building a tertiary complex beside Valencia CF’s future stadium.

The outlet added that individual environmental applications for the shopping centre, hotel and aparthotel were filed on 11 June 2026. The site lies between calle Bernardo España and avenida de las Corts Valencianes, land the club sold to the firm led by Aritza Rodero and Roberto Centeno for about 35 million euros.

Levante-EMV reported in late May that a resolution signed by urban planning councillor Juan Giner authorises a new-build scheme with 40,000 square metres of floorspace, and that parcel segregation had been approved, clearing the way to apply.

One 20-storey tower nearest avenida de las Corts Valencianes will house a four-star hotel. A second, 13-storey block by calle Nicasio Benlloch will contain a two-star aparthotel, with first-floor offices processed via an environmental responsible declaration.

The plan includes a shopping centre across the ground floor, a mezzanine and a semi-basement, with entrances from avenida de las Corts Valencianes, calle Bernardo España, calle Nicasio Benlloch and the stadium’s podium level.

Municipal approval also covers an underground car park on levels minus one and minus two, accessed from calle Nicasio Benlloch, serving the complex’s various uses. Level minus three will be largely inactive, reserved for storage and service rooms.

The documents set capacity at 245 rooms and 482 places for the hotel, and 650 units and 1300 places for the aparthotel, each with separate licences.
