Valencia hit by late Dani Raba doubt for Burgos cup tie

Valencia manager Carlos Corberán said he has a late doubt over Dani Raba for Thursday’s Copa del Rey last-16 trip to Burgos at 21:00 at El Plantío. The forward has soleus discomfort.

Thierry is injured and joins the absentees from the last match. Raba is undergoing tests and treatment, with the medical staff to determine whether he can feature.

There was better news as José Luis Gayà and César Tárrega returned to train with the group. Both completed the session after minor issues, following workload management by the staff.

Tárrega is available to start if selected. Gayà trained more lightly and, in principle, will not start.

Corberán delivered the update at the media centre in Paterna.
