Diakhaby and Foulquier are out for the rest of the campaign and Cömert has recently been ruled out of the next games, while Copete is fighting to be ready for May. Only Tárrega is a certain pick and they will push to have Unai Núñez, who is hoped could partner the academy centre-back.

Núñez, the Basque defender, has not played since the defeat to Celta on the fifth. He has been training apart from the group, but on the grass. Hugo Duro is in a similar situation and could also make the matchday squad.

Such is the commitment that injured players reported to Paterna on Thursday despite a scheduled day off.
