Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart are set to sign Nürnberg defender Finn Jeltsch to replace Anthony Rouault who is set to leave the club this month.

Jeltsch will join VfB for €7.5-10m and will sign a long-term contract at the club. The 18-year-old is not the only centre-back that Stuttgart will sign in this window as Luca Jaquez is also set to join from Swiss side Luzern.

Both will replace Rouault who is set to move to France for €15m having only joined permanently from Toulouse in the summer after spending last season on loan at the MHP Arena.

Stuttgart are slowly becoming one of the best places for young players to move to in Germany as Jeltsch has been tipped as a potential national team centre-back and will take the next step in his career at Stuttgart, whilst also not feeling the pressure to perform immediately.

For Nürnberg, this is the third sale of the summer after Jens Castrop (Borussia Mönchengladbach) and Stefanos Tzimas (Brighton) both have agreed to leave in the summer. For these three sales, Nürnberg will make close to €40m.
