Victor Osimhen's footballing journey has found a definitive home in Istanbul. Following a successful loan spell during the 2024/25 season, the Nigerian striker made his move to the Turkish Süper Lig champions, Galatasaray, permanent this past summer.

According to his agent, George Gardi, the "Super Eagle" has settled remarkably well into life with the Istanbul giants. Despite attracting attention from European powerhouses like FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, Gardi, in an interview with Sky Germany, was clear: his client has no intentions of leaving Turkey anytime soon.

Gardi emphasized that Osimhen's decision to commit his long-term future to Galatasaray was a strategic one, rooted in a multi-season project. "I believe he chose to sign for the club because of the project, and this project isn't limited to just one year," Gardi stated. He firmly dismissed any speculation about an exit clause, adding, "There is no release clause. Honestly, I don't think there's a price tag for him at this moment."

The agent also pulled back the curtain on the complex negotiations that brought Osimhen from Napoli. He revealed a race against time to secure the deal. "I had a precise plan and only a few hours to execute it," Gardi explained. His masterstroke involved a dual approach: convincing Osimhen to extend his contract with Napoli by an additional year to facilitate the initial loan, while simultaneously negotiating a drastic reduction in the transfer fee.

"I managed to lower the release clause from Napoli, which was over €100 million, and brought it down to €75 million," Gardi revealed. "We are talking about one of the best number nines in the world. To have acquired him for €75 million was an excellent piece of business for the club."

The investment is already paying dividends. The 26-year-old from Lagos has hit the ground running, showcasing his sharp form with 9 goals in 12 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds. Now valued at €75 million and under contract until June 2029, Osimhen's Galatasaray chapter, worth an annual €18.75 million, is set to be a central storyline in the years to come.
