Thiago Motta could barely control himself when Francisco Conceicao’s goal in Juventus’s 1-0 victory over Inter hit the back of the net in Serie A on Sunday.

The club have released touchline footage of the coach’s reaction to Conceicao’s winning goal while celebrating the Derby d’Italia victory on social media.

The Portugal international’s goal secured an important three points for Juve, who are now back up to fourth place in the Serie A standings. It also had a major impact on the title race as well, as it prevented Inter from overtaking Napoli, who remain two points clear at the top of the table as a result.

Conceicao was on for his first Serie A start this calendar year, but he has now scored twice in his last three league appearances for the Old Lady.

He now has five goals and five assists in all competitions since joining on loan from FC Porto at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.
