Video: Thuram surprised by big absence in Inter training – ‘Where’s Lautaro’ | OneFootball

Recently released footage shows a surprised Marcus Thuram, who did not know that his strike partner Lautaro Martinez would not be joining the rest of the Nerazzurri first team in training on Tuesday.

Inter are preparing to take on Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, but they had to do without captain Lautaro Martinez for Tuesday’s training session, as he worked individually following the Derby d’Italia loss against Juventus over the weekend.

According to updates from Sky Sport Italia, Lautaro felt a slight bit of pain in his back, and so worked in the gym on Tuesday on precautionary measures.

The latest updates claim that he is still in contention to start against Ajax on Wednesday.

Still, this all came as a surprise to Thuram, who was left asking “Where’s Lauti,” as he stepped onto the training pitch in Appiano Gentile.
