“The feeling is indescribable. My family is here and they know what I’m talking about. When Flamengo wants to sign you, it’s hard to think about anything else,” said the defender, who recalled his roots in Paraná.

Vitão also commented on the responsibility of wearing the red and black jersey, emphasizing the greatness of the club. The defender will take the number 44 shirt in the squad.

“It’s the jersey. Flamengo is the best team in Brazil, one of the biggest in the world. I know the weight of this shirt and I want to contribute in the best way possible.”
