Watford host Wrexham in the Championship at Vicarage Road on 17 March 2026, with the visitors aiming to cement a top-six spot and the hosts looking to close in on the play-off picture.
Watford sit 10th on 52 points and Wrexham are sixth with 60. The reverse fixture finished 2-2 in December.
Wrexham arrive in decent form after beating Swansea following a narrow loss to Hull, having also seen off Charlton and Portsmouth in late February. The Hornets lost at Stoke after drawing at Sheffield Wednesday, but they recently beat Derby and Bristol City.
The Hornets have several absentees, with Jeremy Ngakia and Jeremy Petris out in defence and forwards Luca Kjerrumgaard and Rocco Vata sidelined. Wrexham are without Kieffer Moore, who has 11 league goals, while George Dobson is suspended. Matty James, Ben Sheaf and Liberato Cacace are also out.
Wrexham's direct threat could matter. They have 14 headed league goals, strong aerial numbers and a high crossing output. The Hornets may look to control spells of possession and lean on creator Imran Louzan, who leads them with eight assists.
A win would lift the Hornets to 55 points and keep the top six within reach. Wrexham would move to 63 and could strengthen their play-off position.
