West Brom will take a sizeable away following to Ewood Park on Bank Holiday Monday after another increase to their allocation for the relegation clash.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion quickly sold out their initial batch and asked Blackburn to open the top tier of one stand to release further seats.
That upper section of the away end behind one goal is usually closed for most fixtures, but Blackburn agreed, angering some home fans. Albion then sold out the extra allocation, meaning James Morrison’s side will be backed by just under 7,400 travelling supporters.
Home supporters criticised the move again when Blackburn advertised an away end hospitality package to visiting Albion fans. On Wednesday morning West Brom said they had received a further 100 tickets from the hosts, available to season ticket holders.
Some Blackburn fans on X argued the decision could look poor if they lose to West Brom, while others questioned allowing relegation rivals the full Darwen End.
