West Brom sell Eseosa Sule to St Mirren on two-year deal

Albion confirmed in a statement that striker Eseosa Sule has joined St Mirren on a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old returns to his native Scotland three years after arriving at The Hawthorns from Celtic.

He featured regularly for the under-21s but made only two senior outings, the latest in April’s 0-0 draw with Millwall.

Sule spent last season on loan at Motherwell, where a serious thigh injury restricted his opportunities.

With West Brom strengthening up front this summer by signing Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Sule makes a permanent move. St Mirren are expected to pay only a nominal fee, and the deal includes a sell-on clause. The Glasgow-born forward has signed a two-year contract with the Scottish Premiership club.
