West Ham await late fitness tests on several key players ahead of Friday’s clash with Wolves, with Nuno hopeful of timely boosts. According to ExpressAndStar.com, availability will be assessed on the eve of the game.
The Hammers have been without important names in recent weeks as their fight against relegation continues. They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Leeds last week, and go into Friday a point adrift of Tottenham.
Nuno said a number of players face late checks, including Crysencio Summerville. The forward has missed the past three matches with a calf problem, while Jean-Clair Todibo has been out for two and a half weeks.
Striker Callum Wilson is also due a late test. Dinos Mavropanos, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mads Hermansen are all set to return.
He added that Summerville, Todibo and Wilson are improving, with final decisions to come tomorrow, and the staff are positive they could be available. Mavropanos has cleared the concussion protocol and Wan-Bissaka is back working well.
Several players are recovering from Sunday after a tough game that went to extra time. Nuno said the issues were mainly fatigue and the outlook remains positive.
