WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this afternoon.
The 20-year-old joins the East Londoners off the back of a spell playing her football in the Portuguese Liga BPI with G.D. Estoril Praia. Brasero spent one season with The Canaries in which she regularly featured in the team.
Brasero started her senior playing career in the third tier with Ipswich Town before turning out for Lewes during their time in Barclays WSL2.
On the international stage, Brasero has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-23 level.
After joining West Ham United, Brasero said “It feels great to be joining such an ambitious Club as West Ham United. I’ve had some great conversations with Rehanne [Skinner] already. She’s a manager that likes to develop young players, and as a young player with a lot of ambition, that’s exactly what I’m looking for at this stage in my career. I also spoke with Anouk [Denton] during our last England Under-23 camp and she had nothing but good things to say about the Club.
“Even though I’m still young, I’ve got plenty of experience from my time with Lewes and Ipswich Town, as well as playing in Portugal last season which brought me out of my comfort zone and challenged me both on and off the pitch.
“Now I’m ready to take the next step on my journey and to play in the best league in the world. I can’t wait to get started.”
Brasero is West Ham United’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
