Eight becomes four this weekend in the world’s oldest football competition
A thumping 4-0 win over Liverpool, which saw Erling Haaland score a hat-trick, was a statement for City’s rivals in the cup as they opened quarter-final weekend with a bang.
Chelsea quickly joined them with a 7-0 demolition of League One strugglers Port Vale, but Arsenal fell victim to an upset as their hopes of a treble were dashed by the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, Southampton.
West Ham are gunning for their first semi-final in 20 years, but face a tricky test against Leeds before the draw today.
The FA Cup semi-final draw will take place today, Sunday April 5, 2026, after West Ham vs Leeds at the London Stadium.
The game kicks off at 4.30pm BST, so the earliest the draw can be held is around 6.45pm. Extra time and penalties would see the draw begin at around 7.15pm or 7.30pm.
Becky Ives will present the draw, which will be made by Ally McCoist.
