Spurs are once again on the lookout for a new manager after making the decision to sack Thomas Frank.

Frank leaves Spurs sitting 16th in the Premier League table and just five points above the relegation zone.

So who could be the person to replace him? Here are the current favourites…

Roberto De Zerbi

The former Brighton boss is currently the frontrunner with the bookmakers having recently left his job at Marseille.

De Zerbi has departed the French club after a season and a half in charge, following their Champions League exit. But he did record a second-placed finish in his first campaign in charge, and also guided the Seagulls into the Europa League during his time on the south coast.

John Heitinga

Heitinga was brought to Spurs by Frank to be his assistant coach.

The Dutchman also has experience as a head coach at Eredivisie side Ajax, a job in which he was sacked in November following a poor start to the season.

He also served as a coach at Liverpool under Arne Slot, helping them to win the Premier League last season.

Mauricio Pochettino

Unsurprisingly, the former Spurs boss ranks high among the list of possible replacements for Frank.

He is currently in charge of the USA national team, where he has a contract until after this summer’s World Cup, meaning a return to Tottenham would likely have to wait until then.

His spell in charge at Spurs lasted five years and saw the club reach the Champions League final as well as finish as runners up in the Premier League.

Robbie Keane

The former Tottenham striker has also been linked with the job. The Irishman is currently in charge of Hungarian side Ferencváros, winning the Hungarian top flight last year.

He also had a spell leading Maccabi Tel Aviv, and spent eight years at Tottenham across two different spells as a player.

Oliver Glasner

The Crystal Palace boss has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

It is unclear whether the Austrian would be willing to leave the Eagles, who he guided to the FA Cup last season, before the end of the campaign, so appointing him may have to wait until the summer.

Marco Silva

Another manager who is out of contract at the end of the season. The Fulham boss has spent nearly five years at the London club, winning promotion from the Championship and establishing the Cottagers in the top flight.

Ange Postecoglou

Pochettino is not the only former Spurs boss to be linked with a return to the club. Postecoglou has been out of work since leaving Nottingham Forest earlier this season, which was his first job since being sacked by Spurs last year despite winning the Europa League trophy.

Andoni Iraola

Iraola’s future at Bournemouth remains unclear, with the Spaniard’s contract up at the end of the season. He has had to deal with several challenges at the Cherries including losing key players, but has made them into a very competitive outfit.
