Chivas Femenil has completed its preparations and is focused on earning another home victory, this time at Estadio Jalisco. Matchday 3 of the Clausura 2026 pits the Rojiblancas against Santos, a team going through a difficult moment and one against whom the Rebaño holds a very positive record in Liga MX Femenil.
The three points are Guadalajara’s main objective, which is why head coach Antonio Contreras has called up the 21 Rojiblancas who could see minutes this Sunday at the Coloso de la Calzada Independencia. There are three key updates within the squad list, which we detail below:
- Valeria Alvarado received her first call-up to the First Team in this Clausura 2026, following her professional debut—also at Estadio Jalisco—during AP25.
- Celeste Espino is in the final stage of her rehabilitation and could be considered for upcoming matches.
- Casandra Montero experienced discomfort in her right leg and, after undergoing the corresponding medical exams, it was confirmed that she has a muscle injury. Her return to competition will depend on her recovery progress.
