Who’s next after Brown and Saibari? Here’s what Bayern has planned for the summer | OneFootball

FC Bayern Munich continues to monitor the market. Even though two transfers have already been completed, there could still be some activity this summer. However, that depends on various factors. 

On the one hand, it depends on sales. It has been and remains Bayern’s clear goal to sell players this summer. This worked out with Alexander Nübel and Noel Aseko, but Joao Palhinha, Sacha Boey, and Bryan Zaragoza are still under contract.

According to Sky reports, the record champions’ plans aren’t finalized yet. But it’s already becoming clear early in preseason that a major transfer push won’t be undertaken.

Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown, who were signed very early on, are expected to serve as the marquee signings. Bara Sapoko Ndiaye could still join as a complementary addition. And what else?

FC Bayern: Not many transfers are planned

The priority remains the same: players are to be sold. This has been confirmed once again andis the internal consensus. Bayern’s roster is to be kept deliberately small so that young talents have the chance to make a name for themselves. This approach already worked well last season.

Only if the revenue from sales is sufficient will any further moves be made. If so, they’ll be limited to specific positions. Nothing is expected to change at right back, and in defense in general, changes will only occur if there is another significant departure. Take Min-jae Kim, for example, whom Bayern would like to keep as a backup but for whom they would be open to a substantial offer.

Conversely, this means that fans of the record champions shouldn’t expect any major signings at this point. If something exciting comes up that’s financially feasible, Munich isn’t ruling anything out. Otherwise, Brown and Saibari will remain the two new signings, who were brought in with full conviction and are expected to strengthen the roster.
