Flamengo have yet to confirm Wallace Yan's departure, with his proposed switch to Bragantino stalling over revised payment terms. Neither club has announced an exit or a signing. His future remains unresolved.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the sides initially agreed a fixed fee of around 10 million euros, approximately R$ 62 million. Bragantino later sought to tie half of the sum to performance targets, after which Flamengo said they would not proceed.

The forward bade farewell on 14 January following the loss to Bangu, yet the transfer had not been signed. Club figures viewed the timing as premature and expected him to wait for completion.

In his message, Wallace thanked Flamengo and supporters, saying he had learned a great deal, arrived as a boy and was leaving as a man.

Recent social media claims of Zenit involvement, and suggestions Flamengo would receive Luiz Henrique in exchange for Wallace Yan, were not accurate.
