Wolfsburg are undergoing somewhat of a restructuring over the international break.

Sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz was sacked last week, just days after manager Paul Simonis lost his job following a late defeat against Werder Bremen heading into the pause.

Recent reports from Bild and Kicker suggest that Hoffenheim sporting director Andreas Schicker has emerged as the top target to take the job at the Volkswagen Arena. Schucker would become the fourth key figure to leave the Sinsheim club in recent months, following the departures of Markus Schütz, Frank Briel and Jörg Albrecht.

Alongside this, Wolfsburg are also preparing a move for Hoffenheim's technical director, Paul Pajduch.

Pajduch made the switch to Sinsheim in October 2024, not long before the arrival of manager Christian Ilzer, with both making the move from Austrian outfit Sturm Graz.

This comes from a recent report from Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, who suggests that  Wolfsburg are working rapidly to bring the pair in as Schindzielorz's replacements.

The report outlines that there have been several conversations and meetings, with Wolfsburg putting an offer on the table. Shicker and Pajduch are ready for the switch.

Crucially, it is said that the clubs have not been in contact. Wolfsburg want to complete the move as soon as possible, though Hoffenheim would demand a fee.
