Wolves are looking to sign Tromsø midfielder Jens Hjertø-Dahl, with West Ham United and Nuno Espirito Santo also in pursuit, TV2 reports. The Norwegian is additionally on the radar of Hamburg, Sporting CP and Benfica.
With relegation looming, Wolves are already planning a major summer rebuild. Recruitment will be critical if they drop into the Championship.
Hjertø-Dahl has become a key figure at Tromsø and is being tracked by several Premier League clubs. Both Wolves and West Ham want midfield reinforcements before the window opens.
The Midlands club could lose Joao Gomes and Andre in the coming months, and possibly Angel Gomes too. A deeper controller is a priority for both sides.
Get Football News Italy has compared Hjertø-Dahl to Nemanja Matic, emphasising calmness, vision and positional discipline over attacking output. They also note a rare blend of size and technique suited to the modern English game, placing him among Scandinavia’s standout young midfielders.
Wolves’ situation could make a deal difficult. If Nuno keeps West Ham up, there is every chance the young Norwegian could head to the London Stadium.
